21st Indiana Early Double Reed Workshop

The Indiana Early Double Reed Workshop was designed by Juan Carlos Arango and Robert Wiemken to provide a unique opportunity to dedicated players of the Renaissance shawm and dulcian to improve individual technique, to learn reed-making skills, compare and try instruments and play a wealth of wonderful repertoire. For intermediate to advanced amateurs and professionals alike, the workshop seeks to offer in a relaxed, sylvan setting the chance to focus solely on building skills and stretching abilities. The camp setting at Waycross Conference Center and the IEDRW together make an ideal combination for achieving these goals.

Pitch will be at A=440

Living Space Selection & Fees

*Hickory Hill House: 4 nights x $57 p/p $228
Main House single: 4 nights x $130 $520
Main House shared: 4 nights x $100 p/p $400

*Hickory Hill House. In order to keep lower price than the cabins we will need a minimum 8 participants staying at Hickory Hill House.

The house has 8 rooms, a full kitchen (if people prefer to cook their own meals), AC/Heat and several bathrooms. The only issue about this house is that it is located about 1 mile from the Conference Center. If you decide to stay there, you must drive. However, we can tell you that it is much better than the cabins for less money if we get a minimum of 8 people as mentioned it on the previous paragraph.
